Picking up the Peaces Trivia Night

Wednesday, 28 May 2008

Last night (28th May)  the “Picking Up the Peaces” trivia night was held at King O’Malley’s Pub in Civic.

Rivers SES, known for the evening as “The Rivers Rapscallions”  had respectable representation with a table of 10 people.  While Rivers didn’t win (alas, alack – we were robbed!), we certainly had a lot of fun and lot of laughs and helped raise money for a  very worthy cause!

The purpose of the trivia night was to raise money to support a group of emergency services and other representatives, as part of the “Picking Up the Peaces” PTSD awareness campaign, who are going to go walk the Kokoda track in July.
