Rivers Unit Helps in Search for Missing Plane

Rivers Unit was activated before first light this morning to assist in the search for a missing plane, that disappeared on Saturday afternoon en route from Melbourne  to Merimbula on the New South Wales (NSW) far south coast. Rivers Unit  sent an air observer to provide extra eyes in the sky as search progresses and time becomes more critical. The Search itself is being coordinated by the Authority's (AMSA) Rescue Coordination Centre (RCC)
