42003 Emergency Services Week Speech - 8/7/2006

 

Visit by HRH Queen Elizabeth II - 14th March 2006

During Her visit in 2006, HRH Queen Elizabeth II asked to meet with a group of emergency service representatives who had been involved with the 2003 bushfires.  Ben Morey was selected to represent Rivers ES Brigade by ballot.  Ben attended the Governor General’s Residence in Yarralumla, along with police officer, fire fighters, ambulance officers and other people who had been involved with the 2003 bushfires.
