In this photo, taken at Rivers Shed, Rivers SES member, Don Roach prepares to turn his hose on to SES team mates who were innocently learning about ‘rake-hoe’ lines from the point where this photo was taken. Rivers Bushfire Brigade member, Dick Morton, who is walking up behind Don is hopefully about clip him around the ears! Don couldn’t have picked a better day to wet everybody – it was 5°C, already raining and very, very windy and about to snow!
