Rivers Unit Deployed to Mt Clear to Support Bushfire Fighting Operations

Rivers Unit will send three members to Mt Clear early tomorrow morning to support ACT Dept of Territory and Municipal Services (TAMS), ACT Rural Fire Service and NSW fire services in bushfire fighting operations down near Mt Clear.  SES crews will be based at Namadgi Visitors Centre and provide logistics support to bushfire crews in the field; they are due to stand down at 1800hrs (6pm).
