Notes/ Proximity:	On Left-hand side of the road as you are travelling west on Cotter Rd towards the Cotter (from Weston Creek). Rivers Shed entrance approx 700m west of  Mt Stromlo Rd turn off.  Rivers Shed is not necessarily visible from the Cotter Rd Drive way immediately before the road down to the National Equestrian Centre at Kerrabee. Rivers Shed marked with tall road sign.

Rivers Unit is based at Rivers Shed, which is located on the Cotter Rd, approximately 700m west of the Mt Stromlo Rd turn off (check out the exact location on the attached Google Map ).  We share Rivers Shed with the Rivers Bushfire Brigade. 

Rivers Shed is literally out in the middle of a paddock over the back of Narrabundah Hill, but it has great views, spectacular night-time skies, and lots of wide, open spaces to train in!  This seeming suburban dislocation works in our favour when it comes to conducting many training activities as we can readily access the wide open spaces to do virtually anything!
