Us In a Nut Shell...
We have 28 active and 3 reserve members in the Unit, as at 3 Nov 10.  Our average age is 33 and our gender split is about 70% male and 30% female. Our base is located on the Cotter Road – just behind Narrabundah Hill in Duffy. We train on most Thursday Nights throughout the year, with an odd social night thrown in variety.  We train across a variety of emergency services skill sets and are ready to deal with almost any kind of emergency. Most of our call outs in 2010 so far have been storm and flood related.
